Wellington is the mecca for cafe culture, and I am a firm believer the only way to learn the secrets of a city is to go straight to the locals. Lucky for me my former Travel + Leisure colleague and good friend Erin is a born-and-raised Welly girl, so when I asked her to recommend a place for a flat white on Cuba Street she turned to Fidel's Cafe.
It's coffee, menu, and muffins did not disappoint, so we went there for brunch - twice!
