Welly!

After the Tongariro Crossing we were so excited to get to Wellington, home of the government and New Zealand's capital of arts, dining, and nightlife.

We ate like Kings in Wellington: Malaysian curry, Mexican burritos, homemade muffins and flat whites, gelato. We also shopped and partied, visited the Te Papa museum, and strolled the city's bustling waterfront.

Scary Welly fact: the city is located directly on a major earthquake fault line. It’s biggest earthquake was in 1855 measuring 8 on the Richter scale. With all the natural disasters happening lately on this side of the world, I pray Wellington is spared for a long, long time.
