St. Mary's Cathedral in Hyde Park, Sydney at the site of the first Catholic Chapel in Australia. The north end opened in 1882, the southern end opened in 1928, and the crypt floor was completed in the late 1950s. Made from local sandstone, the church is modeled after the medieval cathedrals in Europe with a Gothic Revival style.
